Tony Quilt 1969

Tony May was my husband from 1964 thru 1988. In 1969, I made four quilts, each one a portriat a family member. This was the quilt of Tony. All recycled fabric.

Dana in Her Kitchen 1977

Dana was a friend who lived around the corner from us and I really admired her domestic artistry, especially her kitchen. This quilt is about 6ft by 8ft. I photographed her at her kitchen sink.

Therese Self Portrait 1972

This is a self portrait quilt I made in around 1972 and was exhibited in my Masters show at San Jose State University .
I used all recycled fabrics from thrift stores.
